Author T.A. Barron speaks passionately to a student audience about the writing process and his fascination with the hero—young Merlin before he becomes a famous wizard—in his fantasy novels, The Lost Years of Merlin tales and The Great Tree of Avalon trilogy.

During the broadcast, the author discusses his love for travel and nature and how the two have impacted his writing. He also answers questions posed by students via telephone and e-mail.
